Flooring and Tile Work

Commercial or Residential | One Source.

Today, carpet is the most popular choice for floor covering. It’s inexpensive. It’s quiet. It’s comfortable. It’s easy to install and replace. It can hide subfloor irregularities. It can be installed over almost any surface. And it offers more options for color, texture, tone and hue than any other floor covering.

So you’ve decided to go with carpet. Terrific. But which style should you choose? Do you like that really plush feeling underfoot — like the suspension on a 70’s Cadillac? Or do you prefer to feel the road beneath your feet — like in a BMW? Unlike automobile choices, of which there are dozens, carpet thankfully comes in only three basic styles: cut pile, loop pile and cut & loop pile.

Home Solutions Partners offers all styles from a range of quality manufacturers. These days everyone with a carpet staple gun thinks they’re an installer, don’t be fooled. A business card and a pick-up truck do not a professional carpet installer make. It takes years to develop the skills for professional carpet installation, skills like minimizing and hiding seams, matching surface transition heights and using specialized tools. Do it right the first time with HSP installers.

Hardwood | solid or engineered

Hardwood flooring can last a lifetime when properly installed and maintained. With an incredible selection of shades, species, and other unique characteristics available today, the beauty and warmth of classic hardwood flooring can compliment any decor.

One little decision can often lead to so many more. The same is true once you’ve decided on a hardwood floor. Will yours be pre-finished or unfinished? Solid or engineered? Which species — domestic or exotic? Stained or natural? How wide? And the finish—satin, semi-gloss, or gloss? Relax. The best way to determine the answers to these questions is to simply evaluate your home and your lifestyle — and educate yourself on all the options.

We are experienced professionals and have a showroom full of samples to view and even borrow to view in your home.

Laminate floors are perfect for those who want the look of real hardwood or stone but not the maintenance or price tag. And if you have a busy household, laminate is durable and stain resistant.

Made of laminate material, laminate flooring is designed to look like natural products, such as wood or stone, yet is comprised of either synthetic materials (usually melamine resin) or of synthetic materials combined with natural and recycled ingredients and covered with an attached decorative appliqué, including an aluminum oxide finish.

Laminate flooring possesses a monolithic function once each plank or tile is clicked into one another, without the use of glue, staples, nails, or cement compounds. Installed laminate floors typically "float" over the sub-floor on top of a foam/film underlayment, which is meant to provide moisture and sound-reducing properties.

Home Solutions Partners offers a variety of products and manufacturers. We will sell to the "do-it-yourselfer" or professionally install the product for you.

Vinyl/Sheet Products

Resilient vinyl floors are a little like carpet — flexible and soft to walk on. What's more, like carpet, it can go on a subfloor that isn’t perfectly level. Additionally, it comes in so many colors, textures, and patterns that you will definitely find your look. The rotogravure process (a fancy term for the method of engraving an image) that is used to create resilient flooring can imitate wood grain, tile and even marble. Resilient vinyl flooring is a great choice for kitchens and bathrooms because it’s easy to keep clean. It’s durable, water-resistant, and it doesn't fade, stain, or dent.

Check out our selection of resilient floors including such brands as Armstrong by stopping by our showroom. We offer a nice selection of quality products at competitive prices. And, as always Home Solutions Partners knows how to complete a quality installation for years of reliability.

Ceramic Tile

Ceramic tiles are a popular choice of flooring due to their aesthetic appeal, as well as their durability and easy care. A properly installed ceramic tile floor will outperform and outlast nearly any other floor covering product created for the same application. Glazed ceramic tile resists stains, odors and dirt and can be cleaned with a damp mop or common household cleaners.

Ceramic tile doesn't burn or emit toxic fumes. Even hot kitchen pans or skillets can’t scorch or melt the surface of glazed ceramic tile! Most glazed ceramic tile has a dense body that permits little or no moisture accumulation.

We showcase a range of ceramic tile in our showroom and can order just about any style you like. Again, we offer expert, experienced installation including subfloor evaluation and installation if necessary.

Cork, as a natural product, warms and enriches any interior. Cork flooring comes in a wide range of colors, from its familiar honey tones to green, red, chocolate and black. As well, production of Cork tiles is environmentally friendly. No cork trees are cut down, only the bark is peeled without destroying the tree, and it grows back within nine years, ready to be harvested again.

Whether in a child's room, family room, music room, kitchen, or bathroom - a cork floor is always a good choice. It is tough, resilient, and water-resistant. It absorbs sound and provides acoustical excellence. Being highly abrasion resistant, these floors are often also used in public buildings including schools, hospitals, restaurants, hotels, shops, and offices.

We showcase them, sell them, and install them.

The growing number of manufacturers confirms their own certainty about the future of bamboo floors. It is that it has one; and a bright one at that. More and more people are choosing this eco-friendly alternative to the more traditional hardwood flooring. A bamboo floor compares favorably to traditional solid select timber floors. Often it will be less in cost and installation is easier when compared with traditional hardwood flooring.

A Bamboo floor is a product derived from forests of fully sustainable, environmentally-friendly and rapidly growing renewable resource. Six year old poles are harvested annually, a far cry from the 40 - 60 years required for hardwood trees. The flooring is manufactured from these aged poles that are split then machined into rectangular billets, cured, laminated and machined into hardwood boards of unmatched durability.

Bamboo flooring is available in a range of colors and strand patterns. Stop by our showroom and take a look.

Tile isn't only for floors. At Home Solutions Partners, we offer tile products for other applications such as backsplashes, walls and bath surrounds. We showcase a broad range of tile including ceramic stone and glass and in all shapes and sizes.

As always, expert installation and consultation is part of the HSP package.
